Consider my mind blown. I was pointed to 2lingual.com the other day by a friend who shares my interest in multilingual information and I am still playing around with it.
The premise is simple: carry out a Google search in two different languages at the same time. Normally if I am looking to do that, I open two tabs in my browser and perform the necessary searches separately. With 2 lingual, I simply select the language pair, type what I am searching for in one language and it generates the search in the other language simultaneously.
As I mentioned, I have been playing around and the translation engine is wonderful in translating individual words or set terms, since it uses Google Translator.
There is no information on the site regarding who created the service, aside from a note that “2lingual was made in sunny Seattle, Washington.”
