When working with Trados Studio 2009, once all of the work on a project has been completed the last step is to “Finalize” it.
This “finalizing” of the project includes two tasks:
1. updating the translation memory,
2. cleaning the generated files for delivery to the customer.
To verify that the stages of translation and editing are actually 100% complete, click on the Task History tab at the bottom of the screen. Here we verify that the translation of the files was 100% approved, i.e., translation has been edited and/or reviewed.
Then go to the Batch Tasks menu and select Finalize.
If you decide to make change after finalizing the project,right-click the file: Explore opens the file and Revert makes the changes.
